Playing a Media In Browser

The app uses macOS built-in Safari browser and emulate iOS browsing. That allows to re-stream video and some audio formats to your TV similarly to AirPlay. Unlike AirPlay however, it does not need any extra hardware but it utilizes DLNA TV technology instead.

The emulation introduces certain technical challenges that are addressed in separate chapters:
How It Works
Equally to any other web browser, you enter a web page address, you want to play a video or audio from, into the address line:



...and play the media:



Once the media starts playing in the browser, a video (audio) link is processed and shown at the top of the media link list:



When you have the link and if the TV is ready, you can click the "send" arrow and start streaming to your TV; For more details see Media Streaming.
